Emeka advises on various matters including disputes between shippers or Charterers and governmental agencies, Charter party disputes, and Cargo claims arising out of carriage by land, sea or air. Our practice also covers Bills of Lading disputes, Liens and Arrests, Salvage and Collision, Environmental Pollution and liability claims, and General Average and Aviation Claims. He also has extensive experience on other maritime, insolvency matters, recovery of debts including detention and demurrage having acted for various multinational companies have been part of the legal team that acted for various P & I companies, banks and Multinational Oil Companies amongst others.
Emeka has over the years gained experience in drafting of contracts including contracts for syndicated transactions. He has undertaken commercial litigation matters and also has experience in intellectual property disputes, banking and finance, employment matters, criminal disputes, election petition, adoption of children and related matters.
